Call of Duty Black Ops is a first person shooter developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. The game is available for almost every popular platform including PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and DS. The DS version is not developed by Treyarch, instead n-Space created the game. The plot has been set during the Cold War in 1960s. The player assumes the multi-character role in the single player game. The player controls Alex Mason, a SAD special Forces operative, CIA agent Jason Hudson and many other characters occasionally. A player close enough to an enemy can kill with one knife blow. A character can take three stances: standing, crouching, or prone; each affects rate of movement, accuracy, and stealth. The player can dive prone from a standing position when running. The player can momentarily sprint but will then grow tired. The screen glows red to indicate damage to a player's health, which goes away over time. When the character is within the blast radius of a live grenade, a marker indicates the direction of the grenade, helping the player to flee or throw it back. - Taken from Wikipedia.
